Ushering in a brand-new era of immersive entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Fox Innovation Lab, RSA Films and The VR Company have partnered with Samsung for an exclusive sneak peek of The Martian VR Experience. The three-minute VR teaser was created in partnership with MPC VR. This thrilling preview allows you to fly onto the surface of Mars and experience key scenes from the upcoming adventure in a 360° virtual reality environment.
The Martian VR Experience is executive produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Robert Stromberg. This interactive, immersive adventure runs 15-20 minutes, with viewers participating from astronaut Mark Watney’s perspective, performing tasks that will facilitate his chances for survival and rescue.
The VR Sound for The Martian VR Teaser and The Martian VR full interactive, immersive adventure was created by Q Department in partnership with Mach1™. The entire story will be available across tethered VR platforms in 2016.
