Kristopher Smale grades Michael Kiwanuka’s new music video

Partizan director David M. Helman and DP Trevor Wineman bring Michael Kiwanuka’s brooding song “Cold Little Heart” to life in a new music video featuring Atlanta actor Keith Stanfield and newcomer Tre Perry. The eerie drama explores the song’s theme of family loss and grief.

MPC LA colorist Kristopher Smale, whose recent work includes Fender’s Feedback series, Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” and blink-182’s “She’s Out Of Her Mind,” provided an atmospheric grade for the video.
