MPC VR brings Pentatonix to life as LEGO® Minifigures for Sony Music's 'Up On The Housetop' VR Experience

The superstar members of a capella group Pentatonix are transformed into LEGO® minifigures for this one-of-a-kind Christmas journey. The VR experience is set to their original performance of a holiday classic. Join Pentatonix as they dance and sing to ‘Up On The Housetop.’

Sony Music partnered with Oscar-winning VFX and VR studio MPC to create this exciting musical piece from the ground up. Using their deep experience in character animation and VR production, MPC’s team crafted the sequence from start to finish including all creative direction, design, animation and game engine production, delivering cross-platform for broadcast, 360 video and VR simultaneously.

On December 14th, Pentatonix premiered their collaboration with LEGO Systems for 'Up On The Housetop' during A Pentatonix Christmas Special on NBC. The next day, the experience became available in virtual reality and in 360 on PTX’s YouTube Channel as well. Fans that use the PlayStation VR via the Littlstar app, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard can watch the video for the ultimate immersive experience.
