MPC triumphs at the ADC Awards and The One Show



MPC takes home a total of 12 Craft awards across both shows

We’re proud to announce that MPC has taken home 12 Craft awards in just a few days, across the ADC Awards and The One Show. A huge congratulations goes out to the teams who worked on these - what an incredible achievement.

ADC Awards

The 97th Annual ADC Awards, which is the oldest continuously running industry award show in the world, celebrates the very best in advertising, all with a focus on craftsmanship, design and innovation. Samsung 'Ostrich' and Edeka '2117' brought home six awards in the Craft categories for special effects and animation:

Samsung ‘Ostrich’:
Craft in Motion / Film: Special Effects - Single - GOLD

The One Show

The One Show, one of the most prestigious award shows in advertising, design, interactive and branded entertainment, is judged by leading industry professionals. A Gold Pencil is the ultimate symbol of creative excellence, and we are proud to announce that Samsung 'Ostrich' won two Gold Pencils as well as the coveted 'Best in Moving Image Craft Discipline'. Edeka ‘2117’ also took home two Craft awards for Animation and Visual Effects.

Samsung, Ostrich

The spot, which promotes Samsung’s revolutionary VR technology, is directed by MJZ director Matthijs Van Heijningen for Leo Burnett, It gave MPC the opportunity to create a fully photo-real and anatomically correct ostrich – and give him his own quirky personality.


Edeka, 2117

‘2117’, which was released online in Germany, is directed by MJZ’s Matthijs van Heijningen with concept and idea by Jung von Matt. The four-minute spot, which continues the brand's tradition of delivering brave Christmas advertising, is set in a very believable future in which robots have taken over.
