MPC and MPC Creative scoop four Golds and two Silvers across VR, Colour, CGI and Animation at The British Arrows

The British Arrows Awards have celebrated the very best film and talent for over 40 years.  Now, after four decades as the most respected and coveted of British advertising awards, they have now combined their CRAFT and AWARDS shows into one big show: ‘THE BRITISH ARROWS’.

Following our ten nominations across Colour, CG, Animation, VFX and VR, last night's glittering ceremony saw MPC and MPC Creative take to the stage to collect a selection of awards.

The John Lewis Christmas Buster the Boxer’ TVC - directed by Blink’s Dougal Wilson with adam&eveDDB - stole the show with MPC’s David Bryan and Max Mallmann taking home GOLD for Animation. While Diarmid Harrison-Murray, Fabian Frank and William Laban took home GOLD for CGI.

MPC Creative's ‘Buster’s Garden’ Interactive VR  – produced in collaboration with adam&eveDDB – received SILVER for VR - awarded to Dan Phillips, Andre Assalino and Pete Conolly.

It was a privilege to work on The John Lewis campaign, one of the biggest and most-loved campaigns of 2016 and of course, huge congratulations to the whole team here at MPC.

Next in the winning line-up saw George K win GOLD in Colour and Bill McNamara, Iain Murray and Mike Little collect GOLD in VFX for the epic Honda Civic spot, ‘Up’.  It was a huge pleasure work with Colonel Blimp’s Pedro Martín-Calero and Wieden + Kennedy on this vertigo-inducing film.

To wrap up an outstanding evening, our Global Creative Director of Colour, Jean-Clément Soret, collected SILVER for  Harvey Nichols, ‘Britalia’. Congrats Jean on a beautiful film.

Last but not least, thank you to the team at MPC Creative for designing and producing the screen content for last night’s awards.

To all the nominees and winners across the evening - potentially feeling a little fragile today – a huge well done!
