Mark Gethin at MPC LA picks up for Best Colour Grading at UK Music Video Awards 2017



The award for Best Colour Grade in a Video goes to Mark Gethin, for Mick Jagger ‘Gotta Get a Grip'

Following six UKMVA nominations - with an impressive total of four shortlisted for colour – MPC collected a coveted award from last night’s ceremony:

The awards - a highlight of the awards calendar which took place in the Roundhouse, London - celebrate the very best of global music videos and live music films, and the talent behind them. With over 30 award categories, the event brings together established and newcomer talent from directors, cinematographers and producers to editors, stylists, VFX artists, and colourists.

Also nominated Best Colour Grading in a Video were MPC’s Jain ‘Makeba’, with grade by Matthieu Toullet, Jay-Z & Damian Marley ‘Bam’, with grade by Houmam Abdallah, and The Hamilton Mixtape - 'Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)' with grade by Ricky Gausis. Shortlisted for Best Visual Effects in a Video was Arcade Fire ‘Everything Now’ and Royal Blood ‘Lights Out’.
